They ask for your login and password information and once entered, they high jack your account and wreak havoc on your savings. Little did you know that pay pal would never send such emails and that what you responded to was a big scam to steal your money.
Nigerian Scams :
Another organized ring known as Nigerian Scams are very common. However, there are still hundreds of people falling victim to them. The trick usually involves a prize you have won, a long lost person who left you some money or a too good to be true investment opportunity. Either way, the end result is you are asked to forward a fee to "unlock" the funds. Then you are asked for a fee to cover "taxes". They keep requesting money until the person either gives up or ends up going broke. And as you can guess, they never receive a cent of the money promised to them.
